if the car is simply running, say for a high speed traffic offense, we cannot chase and we sure as hell dont use strips (not in my department). That stuff is all fun for movies and performance metrics like this but nowadays in the real world, most departments are less likely to chase due to liability. Forcible felonies maybe, but it depends on circumstance. Just some insight, its more complex than that....

cliff notes: shelby runs from my charger, Im not even allowed to step on it and chase unless hes wanted for a serious crime :shrug:

still looking forward to this test/video, should be fun :beer:
