[QUOTE="NJSP117, post: 11394313, member: 131431"] I think the really "value" isn't in the upgrades, but in the heritage that the buyer is buying into. It's the buyer's perceived value that makes the car worth it to that particular buyer. Everyone spends their money differently and some love the heritage and what the Shelby name brings to the table. I own a GT500 and I bought it for the performance of the car AND the Shelby name that's attached to it. Some people cannot afford the added price of the GT500, but still want a "Shelby". In my opinion it's a pretty good looking car and I'm sure the owners feel the same way. I have some friends that own Shelby GTs and they think a lot differently than you. I think most of them know the car wasn't BUILT by Shelby....but they still appreciate the heritage and what it represents. I wouldn't go into a forum and start saying the cars aren't worth the money people paid for them...value is in the minds of those that own the cars...and some may keep them for 30-40 years....just my .02.....
