[QUOTE="mustangmanjeff, post: 11318936, member: 29948"] yes they are slower then a gt500, but shelby gt's they are nice cars though esp white with silver stripes but were a ripoff when new $ wise. but one fact They are rare and will hold value down the road, belive it or not a shelby gt is more shelby and rare then an actual gt500, the gt500 was massproduced @ ford plants / svt, the shelby gt's were actually made @ shelbys actual las vegas plant and are numbered and you can get a certifcate for them hell some 2007-2008 used gt500 shelbys sell for $29-$30k+ used when new they were what $40-$50k, I have a few used regular shelby gt's down @ my local ford dealer selling for $24-$29k used and they were only $30-$38k new, so the gt500's seem to lose there value worse. the older gt500's will lose more valuve since the 2011+2013 shelbys come with with another 50-150hp and 100-200 lbs lighter, the older ones are underpowered heavy and no traction compared to the new ones coming out.
