Waze no longer supports SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer) which is what Ford's SYNC 3 uses so no more integrated Waze via Android Auto in the wife's Mustang.

It hasnt been working for a while. I believe there was a workaround on getting to force use the older software but was not perfect either.
Waze itself is actually being integrated with Google Maps. I have gotten the police radar notifications when using Google Navigation as well as other stuff like the re-routing in heavy traffic areas.

I just used mine today. Is it an update we need to avoid?
I use Waze all the time in my GT350. Drove from Wisconsin to Utah and back with it, and it let me know of the tax traps along the way.

I noticed that lately. Waze initially works with AA, then freezes in one location. Frustrating.
Update: Found this on a website. Make the following changes to the AA app on your phone. After I did this, Waze has been perfect with AA.
Disable location permissions to Android auto. Leave them on for Waze.
