That is a little more than I'm used to seeing but not bad.

Most lose 1qt about every 3K so that is normal.

All seems normal to me but if your really worried do a compression test.

Actually most 5.0s don't lose any oil. The 4 valves are the ones known to lose about a quart every oil change. My 5.0 has never lost any oil between changes.

How many miles are on your motor? I'd wager valve seals.

My 90 didn't smoke that much and it had 190K+ on the stock motor when I sold it...and swapped it back to stock.

maybe not when they are new. With 100k, a LOT of 5.0s burn oil pretty steadily.

Yeah I have 98k on the clock I have heard that valve seals would make it smoke like that. Tis might be a dumb question but if i was to get new heads would they come with new valve seals.

I'll have to get some afr 165's I have about 850 saved up that I was going to put towards an s-trim but I wanna get this oil consumption issue cleared up before anything else.
