why do you need to drain the tank to add E85?

I can't seem to find a definative answer for this. what's to keep you from just adding it to your tank- whether empty or containing reg. pump gas?

U can do that, but I wouldn't suggesting tuning the car that way..you drain the tank so you can get a good tune with the full benefit of the 105 octane that e85 provides.

Ok- I feel as though it was conveyed pretty strongly on here that you "must" drain the tank in order to run the stuff (not that I have it around here anyways). thanks for clearing that up
