Stupid question maybe, but I was just curious as to why some people bruise so easily, and others don't hardly at all. I hardly ever get any. Take yesterday for example, I got hit in the shin with a baseball, and today there's still no bruise. All you medical gurus speak up! Thanks.

Too many variables. Such as, where you are injured, what strikes you, fragility of blood vessels, ability to clot and the amount of clotting factor, vit k levels, etc......

along with what was alraedy said your iron level in yoru blood play a factor, along with some (usually smaller people i.e. thin) having blood vessels closer to the outer dermis of skin allowing for less cushioning then vessels that are deeper, covered by muscle, fat ect.
