Just bought the wife a new 2016 Explorer Sport in Platinum White. I was considering a ceramic coating of some sort and came across "Ceramic Pro". I liked the little I could find on the Internet and got a quote from an approved installer. I was interested in the lifetime warranty exterior treatment as well as the interior treatment since I keep cars longer than most. The quote was only slightly more than I had anticipated. The issue I have is that I haven't been able to find any real users to see how they like it. So I ask all of you. What are your thoughts on Ceramic Pro? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

I haven't used ceramic pro, but I have used Cquartz and I really liked it. I used it on a white car, and it made it really bright. I haven't tried it on my DHG bullitt or any other color car yet, but hear it looks really glossy and adds lots of depth.

Edit: It also lasted 2 years with proper maintenance. Beaded up water really well.

It is a good product but I personally believe its over priced. CP has been called out on their claims over the years so take that for what its worth. In the end up its up to the installer to set realistic expectations. If you feel comfortable with the installer and they take the time to explain the product then go for it.

I have an appointment with a well known and very reputable detailing shop next month for a Stage One clay/cleaning/polishing/buffing and then 2 coats of CQuartz Finest applied on the exterior of my Bright White '16 Ram Sport 4X4 regular cab truck. I wanted all 4 wheels done as well. It's really pricey, (plus, the product itself is pretty expensive), but they do amazing work and I have heard great things about the CQuartz Finest, all with a 2 year warranty. It adds like a 2 micron layer of protection for your vehicle's paint. Resists light scratches/swirls as well as being very easy to maintain as far as keeping clean and protected from the elements. The truck is my all year daily driver.
Good luck OP. It's definitely worth the money to do.

My car had a ceramic coating (unsure of brand, but it was a 12-16 month product) when I bought it. Previous owner had it down about a month before I got the car. I was rather impressed when I first washed the car. Water was basically shooting off the car. I would love to have it done again at some point.

I've use a product on my personal cars called Quartz by Igreenlover (IGL). I like it and what it does. I have a few other cars to do now and will be trying Cquartz.
The Camaro I did for a customer, the 4Runner is my wifes and the Shelby is mine. One thing about ceramic coatings is they aren't body armor for you car. It can still get scratched but the chances of wash induced scratching is greatly diminished but they do clean up easier. You also have to find car wash soaps that wont affect the coating.
I don't have any experience with ceramic pro but if they offer a life time warranty that would be awsome. Check to make sure if you are required to do any maintenance details

Thanks for the help everyone. I had to have minor surgery a week ago. And as soon as the medical bills are paid I think I am going to pull the trigger on CP. I will let you all know what I think as soon as it's done. Thanks again.
