So coming from a shelby i know they can handle 700-750whp safely. What's the safe limit on the stock coyote block? I know the rods have been improved over the 11-14 cars that were good to around 600whp. Thoughts?

OPGs is the limit, with billet ones you can go close to 800, maybe more depending on RPM.

fwiw - our shop car made 850+rwhp for over a year on E85. The cars are STOUT. We have plenty of cars making 700+ to the ground, on stock motor. All our flagship twin turbo cars made 800+ to the tire (both automatics and manual) for years.

You're a bit more limited on pump gas, obviously. E85 is where its at!

My girls 2.9l whipple supercharged 2015 GT makes 672rwhp through a 6 speed on 93 octane, 10lbs of boost.

Has ran that way for 35k miles, no issues. Just change the oil :)

Yeah I'm looking more for stock block numbers. I want to push 650-700whp on pump gas like on my shelby. No access to e85 really around here. Looked at doing OPG and sprocket gears but parts and labor is about 1500. If she lets go might just go to an aluminator. I would like the stocker to last a couple years though. What whp does the stocker let go? I can't find any threads at all.

No one can say exactly where a motor will go. Keep it below 11psi and 7400 and it will last a long time if you don't beat on it on a daily basis. Whipples can hit 700whp on 93 and a good tune. D1, D1x and Paxtons as well.

I keep contemplating if the 15+ motor is where its at for reliability vs the extra money for an aluminator for a reliable 700whp.
