I'm hoping we can use the Whipple on my 2011 for the 2015 I ordered. We assume we can but we'll have to see.

Should be no problem the machine process isn't changing for the 5.0 engine.

It's incredibly more efficient. The less turns/bends in the screw inlet, the higher the VE percentage. This is mainly due to more equal rotor filling. Plenum volume also makes an incredible difference. People started to see this when the mammoth/crusher inlets started to become popular.

This type of inlet(or lack there of) is the most ideal. You mainly see them on Marine applications:
