I was just made aware of these wheels not to long ago. They look pretty sick and seem like they are a reasonable price. Just wondering if anybody was running them. Any pics or if they clear the irs?

Just ordered one at work today to see how it fits..I'm sure I'll have to do some shaving on the tierod, but I'll snap a couple pictures tomorrow when they get here.

I dont mind doing a little shaving. Really ran the car hard this weekend and am running into serious traction problems. Even with hoosiers drag radials second gear is still a no go from a roll.

I was thinking about doing a 17in in the front but after looking at the prices might be 15s all the way around. I wonder if 15s will clear stock cobra brakes?

The 15x4.075" 1.5" backspace fronts clear my stock Cobra brakes. I borrowed a buddy's to test fit..Won't know about the rears until tomorrow when mine show up, but they're supposed to as well. The rear tie rod on IRS cars is the only known issue as far as I know. I really want to run 17x4s up front. I ran 15x10 Weldstar RT and 17x4 Alumastars on my Camaro and loved the look, but they're double the money. I also had a matching set of 15x4 fronts too.

Buddies 15x4 on my Cobra:

Yeah the 17s make all the diff. I loved the look of your camaro. I would go with the black and chrome wheel. I think they would look pretty sick on my red fire. Let me know how much grinding you have to do

Grinding the tie rod was simple, it took a little while, but now that I know what has to be done, it's not bad. However I do have a problem with the brake line where it goes into the caliper. It rubs on the lip of the rim bad, so I don't know what I'm going to do about that..I can grind the corner of it down, and on the bolt a little, but I don't want to hit it too much because I want to beable to remove the bolt if I have to someday.

Anyways, here's a teaser.

Subscribing!!!! Ive been thinking about these wheels too. I dont have to worry about the rears cause I have a solid axle. I never drove on skinnies before how is it driving around with them? Does the handling suck with them?

It's not impossible but you have to be smart about it. Learn to brake slower, and turn at less than 5 mph. They will lock up easier without a proportioning valve, and will slide turning fast. I drive my Camaro on the street all the time without issues, like I said just don't plan on Auto-x'ing on them. I slapped a set of polished ones on today. Now I don't know which I want.
