I have an ATT card that I use and it's great as long as you are in a high speed/3g area (UMTS). My house and school are in a UMTS area, but at work, I only get Edge speed, and it's slower than dial up.
I hear that Verizon's high speed area is larger than ATTs around here any way, but their top speed isn't as fast ATT. Don't know if that's all ture or not, never used it.
I guess it'll just depend on the area you live in. If you don't get service on your phone, then the card won't get any kind of signal either.

thanks, I have been leaning towars verizon, they are going through updating their broadband and it should be done by the end of the year. but am still concidrring att/cingular
