Who has actual 2-step results?

Most likely going to put a 2-step back on my car now that I got it to hook pretty well. I know most people put them on so they can bang, pop, shoot fire, whatever.
Looking to hear from people who have actually used them at the track and your opinion.

Ideally I want:
Better 60’
Consistent launches

Quick rundown:
Sra with strange guts
6spd 26 spline, rxt
28-10.5x15
Ported Eaton
Hopefully launch on the sauce if it holds traction.
Been high 1.5’s no 2-step

I've only been to the track once since installing mine but also switched fuels between track days, had the 2 step set where I would normally launch without it and spun. Going to bring the rpm down next time I go out and see what happens

Seems like a lot of people have two steps but not much info on how they worked at the track.

That's because most people use them at car shows to sound/look cool.

I think it was the best thing I did for launching
I was cutting best 1.7 60' with no 2 step. With the 2 step, first good pass I got it to hook, 1.54 on a stock irs with slicks. I have sra now and trying to tune the suspension but it definitely works.

I was going with about 4,500. Definitely made me way more consistent on my launches than before.

3800 on et pro’s and sra leaves hard. It’s also good for throwing off whoever you line up against.

On the ported Eaton I was low 1.5’s in my vert at 4800.

It’s also very good at finding suspension weak points.

2 step is on my mod list. I’ve heard of some damaging timing chain tensioners, which is part of the reason I’ve held off as long as I have.
