I went from my stock 17'' charcoal bullitts to my 20'' Steeda Spyders in Black. 20x9.5 in the front and 20x11 in the back. Steeda claims the cold cast method in making the wheel do something for them, but I don't think its anything in terms of weight. But the ride isn't much different but I got the car with the FRPP Handling Pack on it which is a 1'' drop I think. As for noticing a difference in term of taking off from a dig.....hard to say. The 17'' with crappirellis's, the traction was no where to be found, as I got the car with a low boost non-IC whipple already on it. But traction was on the wishlist, but so was style. The Steeda Spyders satisfied my wishes. Traction is awesome with the NT-05s on the 20'', so take-off is obviously improved. I say don't fear the 20'' size, but the make of the wheel is important. Cheap knock-offs are going to be most likely heavier than it OEM or high quality counterpart. This lesson was learned with 18'' OE Replica Bullitt wheels on my previous '01 GT. The wheel was much more than I would expect in contrast to the stock 17'' bullitts.
