Folks, I've got an 03 with 75K miles on it and this past winter was first I noticed this "whistleing" coming from under the hood when it was cold outside and goes away once warmed up. Well now it's even doing it on cold starts in the spring. It's not quite as loud but I can't tell what it's coming from. Is it probably a belt, or maybe a pulley going bad?? It sounds like it's coming right from the supercharger. Is there maintenance that could possibly need to be done to the supercharger because I've had nothing done to it since I bought it brand new and my belt is original as well. Whatya think? Hoping maybe somebody has had this problem theirselves and it will sound familiar.

Thanks.

Put a little water on the belt. If the sound goes away I would replace the belt first. I had a bad belt that made a pretty awful sound on cold starts (whistling, squeaking, whatever). Replaced it and problem solved.
