9 pounds of boost with 12 degrees of timing. We had a custom intercooler installed since the whipple kit didn't include one.

4x4 with 4.30 gears.

Sorry for the crappy vid, forgot the camera.

the 2 valve V-10 engine makes 310 hp crank hp stock so this 342 rwhp is actually very good because a truck like this with its massive drivetrain that consists of the same tranny thats in the lightning and 2 peice driveshaft connected to 10.5" sterling rear diff with 4.30 gears is losing 30% to the rear wheels as a result. so this 342 rwhp is about 450 hp at the crank which = a 50% increase in power. i bet it sux down the gas real quick like though. i bet it only gets like 6 mpg when towing.

Was that an AW dyno or did you disconnect the driveshaft (or do something else to run it in 2wd?)

I bet it would run better with a dynatrac freespin hub kit, less parasitic and it removes a major flaw in the ford drivelines.

I'm sorry guys, I just am not impressed by this.

I've seen more power out of 4.6's with the whipple. So you add 2 cylinders and a whole bunch of discplacement and you have less power?

I'm thinking you need to open up the heads a little.

ill say +2...i have a 2500hd with a 6.0 in it...a large amount of the guys are running sts kits on these with the v8s and they usually make 430-450 RWHP with those kits.
Mild H/C lq4 6.0s make better power without a power adder, the v10 won't win any races but it will get you there eventually for 200k

yeah i know...my truck stock with a very very good tune usually makes 260ish RWHP....there is one guy on the full size chevy forums that made 480 RWHP with a big h/c setup....funny thing is most of them are running 12 teens with almost 500HP...these trucks, along with that excursion are so heavy...

Didn't have to disconnect anything to run it on the dyno. It has 2wd, 4x4 low and 4x4 high.

At the time (of purchase) we didn't really care about Diesel trucks.

The gas stations must love him

Yeah it isn't great on gas, 11 mpg but it isn't daily driven anymore.

Doh, I've been brainwashed by DCXs full time AWD. It's a PITA to dyno a Jeep in 2wd, lucky bastids.
