I think you should donate it me cause I need a Whipple :) No seriously it sounds as if you have it priced about right. You might have to come down a little, I'm not sure about how the market is going right now for them. Is it black or polished??

I think thats a fair price. I sold mine for $2600 with only a few thousand miles on it.

i think you price range is probably $100 high. i would ask $2700 and take nothing under 2600.

3200 is what most places sell them for but anybody can get them for $2900 including shipping from steve at tousley.

well i ended up working all weekend so i didnt get down to carmax and im meeting with tax people this week to try and get out of the penalties and stuff but it just might. im hoping to get around 7k for the audi if i sell to carmax for the good condition category since i think they offer blue book according to their website. so with this and that i might just be ok especially if i can get out of penalties.

I just bought one for $2500 with shipping included! If has less than 2,000 miles on it. Hope that helped. Of course it's not here yet either.

my dad had a buch of tax problems, he just called the IRS and settled for the ammount, and did not have to oay the penalties.

i would try that before giving any money away if not necessary.

hope you get this worked out though without seling the car.

Justin, the car dealers have something like 3 different blue books. The one they use for trade in's of course has the lowest value.

As far as your back taxes, I would talk to a tax lawyer, not a tax specialist.

Good luck.

well even on the carmax website they say most of the time they give the good value for the cars they buy which would be fine because resale of audi's right now is way below blue book. even fair value would even be right around what they sell for on the market so its worth a shot.

and yea i plan to call fed and state and explain the situation and try to work out a deal.
