I need to port the TB opening of my whipple intake elbow to match my BBK twin 65mm TB.
Did anyone remove the elbow before ?
Is it easy to do or will I run into problems with the bearings of the whipple?
Any pics?

First off get rid of BBK. Its crap. Second no its not hard to take off but pretty sure you have to remove the complete blower to take it off.

If it's on the car it's going to be a pain to get off. It pretty much just unbolts and no you can't damage the bearings. I did a little porting on mine.:-D

If you can get to it on the car just do it there. You could easily stuff enough rags in the inlet to make sure nothing got inside the blower. Then put towels over the rest of your engine.

Or do what Godstang said and sell that thing and get a single blade. Then again you can't because you got the wrong inlet lol.

I haven't installed the whipple yet, so it's easy to do.
I like my BBK TB, have it for quite some time, used it on my '99 Cobra and works great on the '03.
