Hi All,

I just finished installing my oil pump gears now I’m getting ready to install the Whipple 2.9 on my 2013 Mustang.

The car is currently apart (cooling system, etc.). The Whipple instructions say I first need to make sure fuel injector supply manifold pressure is released.

I can’t run the car because it’s apart.

The car has been sitting for about three weeks.

Question…..Can I remove the fuel line (rag wrapped over line to cover things up) do you think the pressure is down from sitting?

Any thoughts?

Also, a BIG THANK YOU to Fishpick, Blazer, akwhtbst. The oil pump remove threads where a tremendous help!

Akwhtbst the starter shim idea (I use band Iron) worked like a charm to hold oil pump bolt.

Thanks, Joe
