Whipple E85 help!!

Ok guys, so I had the car tuned on e85 about two weeks ago. I drove the car to the gym today for the first time since the tune, which is about a 30min drive for me. On the way to the gym the car was fine. On the way home I was stuck in traffic an it was about 86 out an we weren't moving.... an the car started to run like shit like it was spit an sputtering. Let out of it for a second or too an it cleared up. Then on top of that the car overheated... long story short I pulled the thermostat an drove it home. Scan gauge said coolant temps never went over 194 degrees. While on the way home the car shut off on me twice while I was coasting but started rite back up.... My fuel system is lethal return with duel 465's. My question is could the shutting off be from both pumps running full time an heating up the e85?? Sorry for the book

I would flush the coolant systems, toss in a 170 tstat and try again. Fuel is not your issue though.
