Whipple Differences

What are the difference between the 2.3 140ax and the 2.3 2300 Whipples as far as HP/lb of boost, service etc. I know the 140 ax is the new version but I can't find much that tells the difference. Any help would be appreciated.

I dont think there is a difference, I have the old one and I'm making the same or more than some of these new ones at the same psi....

Performance wise; nearly nothing. The new ones seem to make a hair more torque but thats it.

I'd suggest calling Whipple directly for the best and straightest answers.

I do know the case and bearings are all new. Supposedly the new one is a bit tougher; but I know of no known failures of the first generation.
