whipple blower

Just curious what else i would need besides the whipple to be able to put it on my 2000 L. I have a fully built motor but i thought i read somewhere that its not a direct bolt on and i have to get a 01 and up something for it to bolt on.

Any help is appreciated guys thanks!

I believe it requires the 01+ midplate

most used whipples are for 01 and up and im trying to figure out what else i would need for it to work. So far just the mid plate it sounds like?

You need the updated lower manifold and intercooler if you want a 01+ blower.If you get the 99-00 blower you still need the updated intercooler.The stock midplate isnt used the whipple comes with its own

You need to do 3 things, You need a 01 and up mid plate and 01 and up lower manifold. Your intercooler is fine if the recall has been done. You will also have to cut and extend your iat2 sensor from the drivers rear to the pass. front.. The 01 and up is a better lower manifold.. You can pick up both from one of the boards..
