Whipple Belt Slippage?

I am fixing to install my new whipple with a 3.00" pulley for 17lbs. of boost with the stock lower. Will this give me way to much belt slippage? I have the extra 100mm idler. I have heard that I will not see 17lbs. and that I should use the stock 3.5" upper and add a 4-6lb lower. Any thoughts would be appreciated. The biggest thing holding me back from the lower is I have a huge stereo with an aftermarket alternator, and I am afraid I will not get the voltage needed for the stereo system.

I have 3.5 upper with 6lb lower had the 3.5 alt. pully killed the battery alt. Put the 3.2 alt. pully for the 4lb lower only get 12.8 at idle

I just installed mine with the 3.0 pulley and stock lower. However, I have the 4 piece idlers from Billetflow. So far on a hot 110 degree weather I am seeing about 15lbs (not at complete WOT). Although, I still have some tuning issues that I need to work out with Scott. I am running pig rich. I will let you know what happens if and when I dyno my car.
