Whipple 3.4 on a 351 W

Anyone ever put a Whipple on a 351 W ? I ditched my BDS 871 and got a Whipple 3.4, it will be inercooled and have 4 extra injectors on the top inlet, The Whipple is a top feed so I will be reuseing my inlet from the 871. This is going on my 93 Lightning 351 W AFR 185's longtubes. 578/ 556 roller cam, no cats. I'm hoping fpr better resulst from the Whipple, the BDS made 456 HP 530 RWTQ @2,500.

Whipple makes an adapter plate that uses the 671/871 bottom bolt pattern.

How much boost was the BDS making at that power?

It was a 15# of boost. It made all the torque off idle but fell off at 4200 rpms.

Heres the new blower on the IC adaptor,should take a few days to get it all bolted up and running.

You'll go to plaid with that setup for sure.

Make sure you bolt it to a ported GT40 lower intake or it wont make any power.

Looks like the "punisher" imprinted on the intake filter? Does that picture limit flow?
