Trying to figure out which upper pulley will get me 20 psi out of a Whipple 2.9 Gen 4 Crusher with a stock lower.

Please share which size upper you’re running and how much boost it made.

Thanks

I get 20psi with a stock diameter lower and 3.25" upper, Gen3 2.9, standard inlet, cams and long tube headers. If you have stock cams and manifolds, I'd try the standard 3.5" pulley first, it should be really close to 20psi.

FWIW, I have a gen 4 2.9 with a standard inlet and make 18psi pretty consistently with the stock 3.5" pulley and stock lower. I think that pulley with the crusher will get you 20psi.

Surprised it’s not higher. Are you above sea level or have headers or cams?

Gen 2 2.9 is 17psi at sea level stock everything but off road X. 3.5 upper

Not enough to make a difference. Stock heads and cams. But Bassani catted X and Stingers. I've talked to a couple other guys running the same blower with similar boost numbers.

I've seen as low as 16 and as high as 19 depending on the weather.
