Whining in transmission

like the title states, i’m having a whining noise coming from my shifter area, i don’t have a gasket for the shifter so i dont know if it’s that.
Only whines in gear an at higher rpms or taking off from 1st to 3rd
Thinking I need the gasket, or to flush my transmission?

What's the mileage on the car/trans?
Sounds somewhat normal to me. Have you checked the level at all? When was it last changed?

The car is at 78k an the trans was replaced at 40k so fairly new.
Last time it was refilled was about 3 months ago. Havent checked it since

What fluid was used? Has it been making the noise since the refill? Was it before that?

ATF, not sure brand, since i can remember swapping to a short shifter, never installed a gasket

Put royal purple in it, shifter gasket, and shift it like it owes you money
