Which year Cobra had the power problem?

Which year had the problem of the engines not making advertised HP? What was the problem and what did they do to fix it?

1999... Not sure how they fixed it .

They opened up the exhaust and the intake to fix it. I guess they just choked the heck out of the engine.

They Extrune hone the intake for most of "the fix" Cobra's.
I dont believe they did anything to the exhaust.
Maybe a PCM flash? but I'm not 100% on that.

-PCM flash with more aggressive tune
-Extrude honed Intake
-Catback swap (free flowing and louder)

JT (on this board) had a "fixed" '99 and ran a 13.3 @ 103.3 bone stock (paper filter/street radials). Fastest stock N/A 4.6 Cobra numbers I've seen...
