...but I REALLY miss driving a manual...
... If Ford changes the GT350 too much for 2018, then it will depreciate a little more. ...
Funny how you never hear anybody say that about automatics.
lol. True
The GT350 is carrying over unchanged into the 2018 model year.
If it's a standard GT350, I'd rather opt for the ZL1. The ZL1 is faster and [probably] handles better. If you were talking about the R, well... Check the sig.
Lol my first plan if I bought an R is to find a separate set of wheels and tires, and put the carbon ones somewhere safe until I sell the car.I wish I could get the R. Too expensive. Besides, I would have a heart attack worrying about those wheels.
Do we even know how well the zl1 performs? There is still question about the 29 ring time. Rumors around Detroit says the oem zl1 would not run that time or even come close. The GT350 looks so good, and the ZL1 performs so well. Tough decision. I'd probably have to experience those paddles paired with a 10 speed. I just want to click them off one time.
What a world we live in where someone could say that, and I think....Ok yeah I see where youre coming from.
600+ HP stock sports cars the norm. Meanwhile 10-15 years ago 600 who would have you pretty much mopping up everyone.

Which would you choose, and why? I miss driving a car. Especially a fast car with a manual. I've owned my Raptor now for 5 yrs and I love it but I REALLY miss driving a manual and miss the power and handling of a performance car. I was thinking about trading it in toward either one of these cars and maybe lease an F150 later in the year. I like both cars equally. I like the NA, high revving GT350 and the all-around performance and options on the ZL1. It would have to come down to a test drive. I threw the Grand Sport in there as an option because I had 2 vettes prior to the Raptor and have always loved them.
I'd buy a used C7Z or C6ZR1 over the above you've listed. I've bought used for years (let somebody else pay the mark up) and have never had an issue with my vehicles (that's for all the I would never buy a used performance vehicle folks). I bought my "used" C7Z with 1500 miles on it for example.
The ZL1 will outperform any mustang built thus so far stock vs stock period. The "2018 GT500" is what exactly?Listen, we're not gonna do this shit in my thread like you do in every damn Ford vs Chevy thread. Give it a rest.
I've currently got 15K miles on my C7Z brother. I daily drive it because it gives me a rush that med's cannot.I will say it depends, most Corvette guys really take care of their cars. The guy I bought my Z06 from owned a flooring business, he parked it on carpet in his garage, lol, car was immaculate. I would say this is par for the course with most Corvette owners that I have met. I definitely prefer private party on used vehicles, unless its a really low mile car <10K miles, then a dealership is fine.

It was a honest question.Listen, we're not gonna do this shit in my thread like you do in every damn Ford vs Chevy thread. Give it a rest.
