Which tire for 17x9 and 1inch spacer?

Hi my buddy has a 94 cobra with a 1 inch spacer and the cobra R's 17x9. What the biggest tire he can fit on there with the 9inch wheel...

He can fit 315 Nitto Drag Radials on a 9inch wheel. Alot of the 03 guys do this, with no problems.

I run 285/40/17 on the 17X9 with no problems, without the spacer.

I run a 315-35-17 on a 9 inch wheel and works great. You should just watch how you corner.

You can do a 315 easily. Don't know why you have a 1" spacer though. That's too big IMO.
