Which electric fan??

Well, Flex-a-lite just raised the price on their fans to $549.....from $399. WHAT??? Not gonna happen.

What other options do I have?? LFP fan? Want something that is going to be pretty straightforward (no splicing, looks stock).

Couldn't wait around. Want to get going on this project like ASAP (yesterday!). I decided to go with madenterprise's Madfan DIY kit (and picked up some coil pack screws). Any thoughts on the kit? Link:

I run JDM's fan kit and have done so for over 4 years without one issue, It's based on OEM parts and look like it rolled of the line this way.

I purchased a fan from an '02 mustang GT, cut it down, and put it in the stock shroud. My wiring is a little bit exposed, but well hidden. The project took about 3 hours.

LFPs is pretty "bolt on" as well.

I have Mad's coil pack screws. I actually had one break on me.
I called him up and said what had happend. He sent a new one right out to me. This was after they were on my truck for a year.
So thats just good Customer service there.
