I have a 1995 mustang that already has a 351 in it. I am about to upgrade to a 408 and was wondering what kind of clutch would be best? I am reusing the original heads and intake so it should only make about 400 hp to the wheels. The clutch that was in there was fried by the 351 which was 370 hp to the crank. I am using a tremec 3550 tranny and all my friends tell me that should hold the power. I am on a somewhat limited budget so I can't splurge on a twin disk. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah, I was debating between a 2+ or 3+ and an aluminum flywheel. Seeing as I don't see myself making 800 lb/ft anytime soon I might as well put the money somewhere else.
Centerforce is nice. Or you can get a good deal on a King Cobra here. http://billetdepot.com/mustang-king-cobra-clutch-quadrant-cable-firewall-package.html They also have a couple other options for your power range. I have this setup on mine and it hasn't slipped. Granted I'm making 420hp at the crank and not the wheels.

If RAM has one for your setup it will be hands down the best. I have owned a spec stage 2 and It worked ok, but the RAM is a better clutch.
