I am looking to get one of these really soon but I am undecided on the 3.

Which would you pick?

My price range is from: free-35k

Reason why I put 2010 GT500 and not the 11-13 GT500 is because the 11-13 haven't hit the 30's price range yet.

Each has it's pros and cons but all 3 respond very well to mods.

Feel free to post any comments.

Im confused.... your sig says you already own a 03 Cobra... adding a whipple to it would be much less than $30k!

My car is currently up for sale...
I'm really looking to get into something with more comfort and with modern technology along with some power (GT500).

07-09 are ugly so I would rule them out. 2010 and up is my vote.

I was thinking the same thing. Only pro on the 07-09 are that they are coming down on price.
2010 GT500's are nice inside and out.

well a good starting point is not what to see what other people want .....its what you want

Problem is that I want all 3. I'm just curious to see at what other people would pick and what their opinions are. In the end, it is up to me.

2010 gt500 for 35k?Don't they cost more?

Surprisingly there have been a couple going between 37-40k used. It is only a matter of time before they drop down to mid to low 30's. My best guess is that people are getting more of an itch of leaving their 2010-12 GT500 and going to a 2013....

03-04 is still the best looking mustang to date IM0 with some wheels and a drop

07-09 didn't look great when they were new and are aging worse than a pontiac aztek against the new model

2010+ are awesome looking with a nice balance of retro and modern.

Personally I'd do an 03 but it sounds like you might fit better in a 2010. I'd just go ahead and be prepared to be asked if it's the 13 GT500 and when you answer "No" hearing about how awesome the 13 GT500's are :)

07-09 with a whipple/kb would own all you listed. The wheels are horrible on the 07-09, swap to the newer style wheels and they look fine.

03/04 cobra. If you really want a newer shelby wait 2-3 years and pick up a 2013.

^^^this, with the new mustang to be coming out in a couple of years some people may want to switch over to the new body style, at least I hope some with 13' GT500s do so I can pick one up for decent price, but who knows, the new stang may blow and everyone will keep what they have??? We"ll see.

power per dollar, 03/04 hands down. you can find built cars with big power for mid 20's.

10 and new gt500 for comfort mixed with power. but dont buy a 10, just wait one more year and get an 11. less weight, better clutch and other items.

i think the 07-09 exterior looks WAY better than the 10+. not with factory wheels tho. just the body styling to me looks better.

I say twin screw 03-04 but of course I'm biased. My second choice would be the 07-09 GT500, I like the looks of the first gen GT500 the best.
