Anyone know where I can find 45 sidewall tires? All I can find are 35's in the 315. I know at one point they made them because I have seen them before, but I cant find them anywhere, not even on the company website.

Looking for BFG's or M/T ET streets.

Why would you want a 315/45/17 tire? You are probably not aware of the fact that the side wall number is a percentage of the tire width. Example: A 35 side wall is 35% as wide as 315 tread width . A 315/35/17 tire has the same rolling diameter as a 275/40/17 and a stock 245/45/17 cobra tire.

Since he's looking for DRs, my guess is he wants this for the same reason people want a 28" tire instead of a 26" tire. More sidewall is better in drag racing.

Looked there also......no 45's for the 315. Probably have to step down to a smaller wheel so I can get something taller. Just dont want to buy a set of wheels just for racing.
