When you drain your oil separator...

... here's something else to check.

It's probably just my bad luck to have had this happen, but when I went to drain my Bob's oil separator today, the valve handle & its retaining screw were gone. They must've worked their way loose and are laying who knows where now. I'll just use the handle from the driver's side separator (which has never collected any oil so far) until I can get a replacement handle & screw.

So making sure that the retaining screw is tight will be a quick step added when I drain the separator. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the tip! It helps keep the rest of us from having this problem, and reminds us why we bought a Bob's just in case there is a problem.

This is just the Shelby's way of trying to shake those unneeded catch cans off of itself..... :)

Sorry, I am weak and could not help myself...I will enter a catch can re-education 12 step program tomorrow I promise.

I kid, I kid...
