According to my 98 SVT Cobra sales brochure, Cobra crankshafts were forged by Gerlach-Werke in Homburg/Saar Germany. So when did Ford begin using Kellogg crankshafts?

Both my 2000 and 2001 brochures says "The forged-steel crankshaft is manufactured by Krupp Gerlach-Werke in the United States." Krupp Gerlach-Werke became thyssenkrupp AG (a German company) some years ago. Their current Forged Technologies facility is in Danville, IL. The Kellogg Crankshaft Company is in Jackson, MI and has been in business since 1956. So...your question is a poser, who did make our crankshafts?

BTW, my 01 has a Teksid block and was built 28-Feb-01.
