I'm new to e85 and will be burning my first tank on a new build soon. I have the car pretty much ready to fire and so I went to go test my closes E85 station and I came up with a 70% reading. I'm guessing that is a winter blend in my area yet and I have lots of stations to choose from but I am wondering about what time or what month can you expect to see the readings more in the 85% range.

Depends where you live an how long your winters last. Also if not many people are buying E85 it means it may take awhile before thenget a new fresh batch thats true E85

I'm in the same situation, ready to switch over to e85 but can only find 65-70% around here. I may end up buying a drum of e98 and mixing down to 85 for tuning purposes only

I just tested the local meijer pump as I want to switch after this weekend. According to my test tube it's at 82-83% which is pretty good. This is in michigan also but in a busy area so it may sell more often.
