It is time to get new tires on my 2010 GT500

#1 -- CLUELESS

#2 -- SANITY CHECK

#3 -- Performance issue?

- Looking to get the rear tires looking bigger (higher) than the front without springs and other Mods - Just tires and wheels.

Currently from what I've looked into, Stock 19" wheels and tires are 26.9" rear and 27" Front.

- Looking at the 20" Chrome Shelby Super Snake Style Wheels - from American Muscle.

-- But with Tires, they are the same Heights as the 19" wheels ???

So I am pondering going with 20" in rear and 19" in front .

255/35/19 (front) and 295/30/20 (rear) with tire heights of 26" Front and 27" Rear

-- Would this be possible? - Would this be Stupid looking?

ANY help with getting this look with tire sizes would be appreciated!

The performance pack wheels on the 2011-2012 and all Shelby's 13-14 come with 19" front and 20" rear wheels from the factory, so that is possible.

305/45R18 tires on 18x10 rims looks beefy as hell. I got them in drag radials on mine. Outer diameter of the nitto nt05r is very close to the svtpp outer diameter which is what I wanted. The 45 profile of the 305 wide tire is... meaty.

I have the 18x10 amr wheels from AM, and with tires mounted the stick out a half inch each side of the quarterpanel. So far driving on the street to and from events is ok, but as a daily set I'd want them tucked in another inch if I could.

I run a 275/40r19 up front and 295/35r20 in the rear. I like a little taller tire for ride quality and the more sidewall you can get in the rear the better traction you get.

What brand of tires? Also, are the 275's close to rubbing in the front?

Bridgestone Potenza S04 up front and Nitto Invo out back. Lowered on Steeda Competition springs, no rubbing

I normally try not to but I'm a huge price shopper and I definitely did not want to go with a smaller tire than stock. Both tires do great. I did an auto cross event last year and finished 5th out of 130 cars. The 4 that beat me had slicks front and rear. Both tires seem good in the rain.
