2010 Shelby with the standard 9.5" rear rim width. I'd like to widen my existing wheels..what's the max width to go without risk of rub? My thoughts are 10.5". Am I on par or is 11 a better solution? I may decide to lower my car in the future. Thanks in advance, search option was tangential to my root question.

The offset going to 10.5" is just about optimal. I went 11" and I'm using an 8mm spacer. I'd chose based on what size tire you intend to run. A 315 is about as wide as you should be on a 10.5".
