I’m thinking of going 15”’s rear. Heard 15x8 will fit an 03 Cobra with IRS with no grinding needed, is that accurate?

I’ll be installing VMS’s with a 4.50” BS and 275/60R15’s M&H (28”), would they fit on a lowered Cobra with H&R springs?

You’ll need to clearance the knuckle to run anything in 15”
Brand/design of specific wheel mandates how much will need to be ground down
Low profile rear brake lines
Low profile IRS hardware depending on wheel/tire width and backspacing

This. It's not the back spacing it's the diameter. I've seen some get away with just grinding on the knuckle. And I've seen others that also had to grind on the caliper.

Uhmm, if that’s the case then I guess I’ll stick to 17’s then!

So does 28” tall tire fits a lowered Cobra, like the M/T 305/45R17?
