I plan on running 275/40/17 mickey thompson et street radials at the track this spring and was wondering if i should replace my stock wheel studs? I didn't know if the stock ones would be strong enough and don't want to worry about them breaking. If so which ones would you recommend?

I'm going to be going to slicks as well so Thanks for asking. I've heard we need 3" studs for the track and need open ended lugs. Not sure if that is true for the ET's as well.

I am going to run Prostarts all the way around so I guess that's what I'll need?

yup

for the skinnies up front 3.5 ARPs and 3inch Morosos in the back

you will also need 1inch spacers up front to clear the brakes

and Long shank open end studs

Changing studs has nothing to do with strength perse, but more to do with fitting typical drag rims with thick centers and meeting NHRA reg's where the open ended lug nut allows techs to see the stud ensuring proper engagement.

I don't recall the reg's now, but it depends on the class you run and times etc.. check the regs to be sure.
