I am looking at a set of wheel spacers for the rear of my 98 cobra the problem is too many sizes to pick from. I was wondering if anybody has any input on the correct size. I want the rear tires to be just about flush with the rear wheel openings NOT sticking out. The car is stock ride height, stock 245 tires, and stock 98 cobra wheels. Pics would be awsome.

Thanks in advance.

1 inch to 1.25 inch is about right for a 17x8 wheel with a 245 wide tire out back.

By a true hubcentric spacer like the H&R or Eibach.

I have the same thing going on except I have 285s on 18X9.5 Y2K Cobra Rs, always wondered if they were safe. Anyone have experiences with the hubcentric spacers?

Well lol I might have a set of 30mm (about 1.2") spacers for sale. This would put the wheels right about even with the fenders. Although I have to say it may look strange having your wheels so wide with stock ride height.

Don't get big spacers save the money and just get a bigger wheel, I bought 1.5's and it looks like ass.
