whats the best way to clean old alloy wheels , to take out the dingeness/ fading

if thay are in a bad situation. I would reccomend Poorboy's SPray & Rinse Full Strength & followed by a metal polish. Also the Mother's BUFF BALL with it.

Meguiars Hot Rims, Eagle One A2Z. I prefer poorboy's S&R so far its the toughest on rims. but if you want something local get the A2z heard good things bout it. :-D

Are they polished or brushed aluminum(think non chrome 03 Cobra wheels)? Are they clearcoated?

To clean: All purpose cleaner(APC) diluted 50/50 with water, I like Simple Green or Purple Power, agitate with a wheel brush.

If the wheels are not clearcoated: Try your favorite metal polish and some elbow grease. Blue Magic or Mothers are available locally and work well.
