I was planning to paint my LFP heat exchanger and am wondering if this will have any noticeable effects on its cooling ability. I've read through the forums and some say this negatively effects the heat transfer ability while others say it doesn't make a difference. What's the general consensus on painting heat exchangers?

The factory one is painted black, I don't think the factory would paint it balck if paint reduced it's performace an appreciable amount.
I am going to be painting mine black, and doing SVT in blue to match my calipers. I’d say as long as you don’t use house paint you’ll be fine.
Yeah, it will be fine unless you give it 7 rattle cans of paint.
