What's needed to do a cam swap?

What are some parts I need to swap out cams? Gaskets?

The valve covers come off and timing cover comes off, so all those gaskets need to be replaced?

Will it be difficult to do in the truck? I was going to take everything off down to the heads.

Help me with the process.

hell, get the heads cleanedup a little if youre going down that far and if you have second vehicle so the truck can be down.. do it right the first time, and youll never hvae to do it again.

lots of patience if your going to do it in the truck. I am in the middle of removing my driver side head due to zero compression on cyclinder 6. possibly bent exhaust valve. It is not fun at all. A great learning experiance, but thats it.
