man those #'s are impressive for not having a slick. How much are those Nitto's a tire around $200? On the subject of tires, has anyone broken a halfshaft with stock tires or nittos vs slicks? Also has anyone ran an 11 on stock tires or is it just too tough to be making that much power and getting the 60 foot you need for an 11?
thanks, Shane

It's not the tire as much as it's the driver. Nitto's aren't going to get you low 11's awesome driving will.

That isnt bad at all, i figured the regular F1's were around that price. What are the f1's usually a set? I'm going to try to make a few passes on the stock tires and see what happens.
I have et streets in the garage, they are 26x16x11.5 can I get a rim for those and throw them on the car? is 11.5 too wide or will they work? If so what's a cheap decent looking rim can put them on? Also on the topic of slicks, and nittos, if I run a slick, should I pretty much run the irs support (gurdle) too? Or what's the rule of thumb about trying to avoid any driveshaft/irs problems?
thanks, Shane

I just bought a new set of MT ET STREET 26X10.5X16 on a set of use 96 GT. Fits perfect. 11.5 should work just fine because I've got a lot of space left with the 10.5.
