Whats a gen 1 2.3 whipple worth??

looking at 2.3 whipple that by serial number is a gen 1 but has some characteristics of a gen 2 like a cast mounting plate and a oil site glass. It hasent been pulled off to check the color of the rotors but is there any other things to look for that would tell me for sure what it is other that taking it off? And if it is a gen 1 whats it worth?

I just bought two gen1 2.3 whipples in the past 2 months. I paid 2k for one and 2300 for the second. I paid more for the one that had the best history/lowest miles even though it was an earlier version when lysholm/whipple first made them. History and mileage is more important to me for my purposes. The lysholm/whipple one I bought just made 596rwhp at 18lbs and 18 degrees of timing with stock manifolds and mid pipe with only flowmasters welded in.
