I have one and I measured the change in AFR curve. However, the chip does a couple of other things as well:

disable shift indicator
lower high fan threshold.

Anyone know what else it might do that's not obvious? Jim V? Rick? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Thanks

Hey Jim, it is kind of like a taco - sometimes it is better not to know what is in them!

Ahem, I like mumbo jumbo, and I know some other stuff the chip does:

1) It provides more spark advance earlier in the rpm range - this both increases and flattens the torque curve for better throttle response and acceleration
2) It runs the fans earlier to help keep engine temps down
3) It disables the rear 02 sensors so you do not need MIL eliminators
4) It optimizes the A/F ratio to make safe power
5) It makes coffee in the morning

Cool. I like coffee. Well, not really :).

Thanks for the info. I sent Rick an email a week or so ago and hadn't got a response yet so I just thought I'd troll around a bit before I tried him again :).
