What type of Supercharger will the Ford GT (GT40) use? will it still be an Eaton or will they move to a twin screw type like in the Lightning Concept? If they use a Eaton and make the advertised 500hp i think it would be interesting to see if anyone comes out with a twin screw to replace it. Maybe a KB?

it's a Eaton Twin Screw(Lyshom screw) supercharger, making about 12 lbs of boost.. also has quite abit higher lift cams than the 03 Cobra.. SO it should be making ALOT more than 500 hp...

Just got my Road & Track mag that had a one page article in it on the GT. "Powering the Ford GT is a mid-mounted, all-aluminum V-8 with an Eaton Model 2300 Lysholm screw-type supercharger. With a maximum 12 psi of boost." I can't wait to see what the real power output is. Heck an 03 cobra can all most put out 500hp with full off road exaust at 8.5psi and only 4.6L.
