Is 500 your end game or is it a first goal? Port, maf help, tuner, dyno/tune, pulley, springs, shocks, . . .

Looks mint alright.

Very cool, man. Grats and welcome to the club. I also have an SB and love it.

As for power... I guess I would question what the car will be used for. But I think to get in the 500 range, you're looking at a ported blower.
I am a bit prude with my money personally... so I would not personally recommend one, unless you get a great price on it, or an do it all yourself and get a reasonable priced tune. Personally, I'd rather put that money forward to a screw or TVS blower, and not have to pay for a second tune, resell the ported blower, ect...

the car is going to be 100% street, if it ever sees a track other then sitting in the parking lot I'd be very suprised. maybe I'll just go with a pulley and a tune for now and just upgrade to a twin screw next year. to get into the 450 range is a fuel system upgrade needed or just something I should go ahead and do now?

I thought I read on here not to bother with the crank pulley with a stock Eaton that it will just over soon it and create to much heat?

To really benefit from a lower you need a ported blower. It also depends on what combo you run for the heat part and what cooling mods you have. Also the lower crank pulley is more for torque then it is hp

i'm going to be upgrading to a dual pass heat exchanger unless someone tells me otherwise.

Do a search man on pulley combos. There is a lot of them
quick guide

2.76/4lb lower--- maxing out ported eaton
2.76/6lb lower---- over spinning ported eaton
2.80/4lb/6lb lower---- just about the same as a 2.76
2.93/4lb lower---- all around best combo
2.93/6lb lower---- maxing out ported eaton
2.90/4lb/6lb lower--- same as 2.93 will little change

Now I might be a little off but to me thats what I think is a basic guide. Now if you have say like a killer chiller that will change things. Also were you live will have a little to deal with too.
But like I said do a search and you will find an answer to almost everything you have to ask
