Purchased a set of Niche Apex wheels yesterday. Fronts are 20x8.5 and backs are 20x10. I was thinking of 255-35-20 up front and 305 or 295-35-20 on rear. I just don't want the tires to look to small for the rims. I see a lot of 285-30-20 and 275-30-20 and they just look to small.
I lowered the 2011 5.0 with steeda sport springs so its not super low. Thanks for any input:coolman:

I'm running 285/30/20 and 315/35/20 on the same size wheels you just got. I like how they fit.. no problems for me anyway.
I had 255 up front and 285 on rear. They needed more tire front and rear in my opinion so I up sized all around..

Thanks for the input, by the way do you have some close up pics of the tires front and back. You can send them to my cell at 704-477-8652 or just post here.
Thank You

I am running 255/35-20 on a 20x9 front and 305/30-20 on a 20x10.5 rear. Imo it looks great! I prefer the 30 profile for the rear in these sizes. The rears are still 0.4" taller than the front. Your wheels are a half inch narrower, but I think it would still work.

255/35R20 and 295/35R20 is a good setup. I know a guy running 295/35R20 on the Niche Targas 20x10, and it fits like a glove.

NO offense, but those tires are way to big for those wheels. a 285 on a 8.5" wheel is no where near ideal, and way outside most tire manufacturers specs. Same with a 315 on a 10" wheel. You really need another 1" width on each wheel to make those tires more effective. It's all about contact patch.

I've got the same size Niche Wheels and went 255/35/20 and 295/35/20 Nitto Invos, dropped on Steeda Ultralites. Very happy with it.

Thanks I really wanted to see some pics of a 295/35/20 because I am concerned with the 315/35 on 20x10. Really wanted 20x11 but it didn't happen.

Did you get the pics I sent you to your cell?
I dont have any problems and they sit against the rim a lot better then when I had 285/30/20's in the rear..

This car belongs to 03machme. In these pictures it's lowered on Sportline springs, on 20x10 Niche Targa wheels, 20x10 ET40. The 295/35/20 is rubbing in the rear when the suspension is compressed.
